Bidhan Chandra Institution

Bidhan Chandra Institution was established in 1976 as an English medium school exclusively for class XI and XII, affiliated to West Bengal Council of H.S Education. In the last forty years it has grown as a Centre of Excellence and has been awarded GRADE-A status by West Bengal H.S. Council for the last 24 years. Ever since 1978, when its first batch of students went for the public examination, the students of the institution have always left their mark of distinction in every examinations, including the All India and State Level Competitive examinations like JEE (Main) JEE (Adv), PMT etc.

This institution has its students in almost all premier centers of higher learning in India. The institution has a large number of its ex-students in the USA and Canada where they have formed an association ‘Bidhanians of North America quite competently bearing the banner of excellence as ‘Bidhanians’ the worldover, in their professional fields. Now, being the “Alma Mater” of thousands of capable Indian citizens, Bidhan Chandra Institution welcomes its future students to take the benefit of its academic training regimen for XI and XII standard in which it excelled over the decades and be a part of its history in course of time.

FROM THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023, THE INSTITUTION HAS INTRODUCED THE SECONDARY LEVEL OF EDUCATION ( CLASS-V ONWORDS) FOLLOWING THE COURSE CURRICULAM OF WEST BENGAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION. THE INSTITUTION IS RECOGNISED BY WEST BENGAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION.
